Kia India’s first ever electric car, EV6, has been updated to combine the company’s new design language. The new 2025 KIA EV6 debuted in May 2024 and was patented in India around June 2024. The company has now launched the latest iteration of the EV6 in India at a price of Rs 6.59 lakh (EX-SH).
New 2025 to EV6
Unlike the model it replaces, the 2025 KIA EV6 is only available in one variant. This is the GT series AWD, priced at Rs 6.59 lakh (EX-SH). Kia offers five color options that cater to a wider audience. These include Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Gray, Runway Red and Yacht Blue Matte.

Compared to this model, the latest iteration of EV6 has a new design language while still remaining true to its original outline. We got new LED headlights in the front, as well as new shapes for LED DRLs. Speaking of which, these LED DRLs are now connected and the bumper has been revised to make the appearance clearer.
The 19-inch alloy wheels are also new and follow geometric patterns. The side profile has been brought to indicate the appeal of its crossover SUV design and the flush door handle. The rear taillights are connected, and the LED signature has a cool effect, which can only be split by wheel arches when it seems to flow into the side crease. The rear spoiler and bumper now look more sportier than before.

Excellent experience
Inside, we can see that Kia has overhauled the interior. Globally, Kia offers the same 2-spoke steering wheel seen on the Syros on the EV6′ Basic Air version. The GT version has a sportier three-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard is dominated by a 12.3-inch dual screen, and the sleek design of the center console, which hasn’t changed much.
The new 2025 KIA EV6 comes with the KIA Connect 2.0 telematics suite for OTA updates and 34 ECU control. Kia also bundled its new ADAS 2.0 with up to 27 advanced security features standard. There are also 5 new autonomous security functions that demonstrate their technical strength.

Powering the car is a larger 84 kWh battery pack, rather than the 77.4 kWh battery it used to offer in India. This E-GMP platform is expected to have a 663km range of single charge (ARAI MIDC Full) and compatibility with 350 kW fast charging is expected to deliver 10% to 80% SOC in just 18 minutes. Since India only uses AWD to get the GT series, we get peak performance of 325 PS and 605 nm.
Kia India Statement

With a larger battery pack, enhanced safety features and excellent design, it will set the benchmark on the Premium EV Market in India and move forward with the EV6 legacy.

The new EV6 will meet the requirements of growing Indian customers seeking performance and sustainability. It embodies Kia’s vision for the future of liquidity and we believe the new EV6 will strengthen our brand business and make a significant contribution to the EV adoption journey in India.
