Redesigned Murano will arrive in dealerships next year with a host of improvements

- The 2025 Nissan Murano will cost between $40,000 and $50,000 when it arrives at U.S. dealers early next year.
- The crossover features a modern design, a more elegant cabin and more advanced technology.
- Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
Nissan launched the redesigned Murano in October, and now the company has announced pricing starting at $40,470, not including a $1,390 destination fee. Despite the $1,730 increase, customers will be rewarded with a significantly improved crossover.
First up is the entry-level Murano SV, which sports an Ariya-style design with gentle curves and smooth surfaces. They also come with LED lighting and 20-inch wheels.

Inside, drivers will find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. They are connected by heated leatherette front seats with power adjustment on both sides.
Other highlights include a wireless smartphone charger and dual-zone automatic climate control. Buyers will also find a six-speaker audio system and active noise cancellation technology.
On the safety front, there are plenty of driver assistance systems, including Intelligent Cruise Control, ProPILOT Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning. The model also features blind-spot warning/intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, intelligent forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with obstacle detection. Other features include traffic sign recognition, rear door alert and rear automatic braking.
The midlevel Murano SL starts at $46,560 and has a slightly modified exterior and a panoramic sunroof. The model also features gloss black side mirrors with integrated turn signals.
The SL gets bigger changes inside, with a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting and a 10-speaker Bose premium sound system. Customers also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a MyQ-connected garage door opener and a more advanced infotainment system with Google built-in. ProPILOT Assist 1.1 and a smart surround-view monitor with moving object detection round out the highlights.
The top of the range is the Murano Platinum, priced at $49,600. It features power-folding mirrors, rain-sensing wipers and larger 21-inch wheels.
Upgrades extend to the cabin, where drivers will find semi-aniline leather front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions. Elsewhere there’s a head-up display, heated second-row seats and a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
All trims are powered by a new 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine producing 241 hp (180 kW / 244 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. Mileage for both is estimated at 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.
