This 14-story boutique hotel has just opened and features mid-century modern design. Carefully curated artwork and sophisticated touches of modern aesthetics and original elements recall the space’s origins, the Texas Hotel Annex. Art lovers should know that the hotel will also participate in Le Méridien’s signature Unlocked Art program, giving guests free tours of Fort Worth art institutions and exploration of local culture. In addition, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points during their stay.

The hotel has 188 guest rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of downtown throughout the space. Nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including ballrooms and breakout rooms, feature state-of-the-art technology and optimize natural light.

At the hotel’s on-site Bouvier Brasserie, visitors can enjoy Parisian cuisine with a Texas twist all day long. The rooftop lounge doubles as an event space, perfect for cocktails and snacks, stunning views and weekly live music. Other amenities include valet parking, a fitness center and a rooftop pool on the sixth floor, which can also be booked for private events.

The design pays homage to 17th Century French explorer Pierre Le Moyne d’Iberville founded Mobile. It embodies the elegance of space Avocet Hotel Imagine that d’Iberville would have been built in honor of his king.

With 156 rooms and public spaces, the hotel’s refreshed look incorporates local influences into the design, with bright purple and gold jewel tones paying homage to the city’s French colonial and Carnival heritage, with mirrors and portraits adorning the walls. Reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles and an inverted oak chandelier, a nod to the oak-lined Rue du Doge.

The on-site restaurant, Le Moyne’s Chophouse, offers delicacies typical of French court banquets, using fresh local ingredients.

The hotel offers six event spaces between the North and South Gallery meeting rooms, boardroom, study, Le Moyne’s private dining room and divisible crystal ballroom.

South Lake Tahoe Coachman Hotel As part of its multi-phase, comprehensive hotel reimagining, the hotel has completed the renovation of 81 guest rooms and added 21 new guest rooms and suites, as well as expanded leisure wellness spaces and fitness facilities.

The location provides easy access to the lakefront, private lakefront beach, and adjacent ski resort at Paradise Mountain. With this comprehensive renovation dedicated to embodying elegance, activity and a holistic experience, the hotel is ideal for a tranquil, leisure-focused corporate retreat.

All 101 rooms maintain a modern, minimalist mountain cabin aesthetic. Framed photography of the hotel’s natural surroundings stand out against neutral tones and accents such as plywood furniture, rich leather upholstery and handwoven wool rugs, creating a sense of laid-back luxury.

The new suites offer a variety of options to meet the needs of business travelers. Four business suites feature built-in work corners and adjustable desks. Three-bedroom suites that sleep 11 and kitchenettes in some suites are just a few of the options. In March 2024, the hotel launched a new 900-square-foot, technologically-equipped meeting space with landscaped terrace seating for guests’ comfort. The hotel’s meeting space totals 1,900 square feet, with flexible indoor and outdoor options.

The new 300-square-foot wellness room provides space for therapeutic and relaxing massages, whether visitors are lounging on the beach or adventuring on the slopes. The fitness facility now offers Peloton bikes, treadmills and free weights. The next phase of the refurbishment will see the opening of a new food and beverage outlet and is expected to be completed in 2025.
