Downtown hotels unveil exciting updates and new openings
Who doesn’t want to hold a meeting in the heart of the city? Whether you’re meeting in Nashville, Long Beach or Salt Lake City, these three newly renovated hotels are located in the bustling center of each city. In addition to refreshing updates and new features, travelers can easily explore and attend meetings in each city’s unique style.
For music team building
In the heart of Music City, Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown Completed a comprehensive hotel renovation. One of the tallest buildings in the city at 28 stories, the hotel embodies Sheraton’s global mission to be a community hub and collaborative gathering place.
The hotel’s 28-story, 494 guest rooms and suites have been redesigned to optimize comfort and work/life balance, featuring abundant natural light, destination-centric artwork, and spacious stone-top desks with built-in power and upgraded lighting.
The 29,000 square feet of meeting space has been outfitted with new wall coverings, lighting and carpeting. All 13 spaces offer customizable configurations and high-quality audio-visual capabilities. The hotel has also expanded its meeting space with the addition of The Studios, three on-demand, flexible spaces on the hotel’s second floor, and soundproof booths throughout the lobby.
Designed to serve as a “public square” for visitors, the hotel lobby is located in the heart of the city, featuring an intimate space and a stately wooden staircase as its centerpiece. Behind the staircase is the Community Table, a Sheraton signature element, with outlets and built-in lighting, inviting guests to work, collaborate or visit with one another. The lobby’s &More by Sheraton is a blend of a bar, coffee bar and market. One of the most enjoyable additions is two new state-of-the-art karaoke studios named after Nashville icons Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. Groups can gather for this exciting team-building experience amid vintage-inspired hues, textured fabrics and plush seating and tables.

For Oceanside Activation
Long Beach Marriott Downtown The hotel is located in the heart of Long Beach’s vibrant convention and entertainment center. Located on the city’s iconic boardwalk, guests can easily access walking-distance dining and shopping, beaches, and tourist attractions such as the Aquarium of the Pacific and the Queen Mary.
The 12-story hotel features 376 contemporary rooms and suites, a rooftop pool and deck, a central lobby with lobby market, an all-day dining restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness center and ample meeting space.
The hotel design incorporates beach culture, soothing nautical and natural elements, and blends an upscale, temporary aesthetic with art deco elements. Rooms feature platform beds, rich fabrics and metallic accents, and a color palette that is spacious, bright, and airy.
The on-site Local Current restaurant offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu featuring fresh, natural, local ingredients with a commitment to sustainable sourcing and community partnerships.
More than 21,000 square feet of meeting space consists of 14 flexible event rooms and 18 breakout rooms. Attendees of on-site events gather in a soft palette of white, gray and bright blue accents, accented with bold geometric patterns, bright white woodwork, oversized crystal light fixtures and luxurious abstract patterned carpets. All spaces are also equipped with high-tech amenities, including wireless connectivity, video conferencing, docking stations and smart whiteboards. With on-site audiovisual technicians and a variety of custom catering menus, the hotel makes it easy to hold meetings.
Enjoy the sunset in the mountains
Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown Celebrating the completion of the first phase of a multi-million dollar renovation, visitors will see extensive upgrades to the lobby, guest rooms, dining options and meeting spaces, as well as a new executive club lounge and ski storage, and later this year, the opening of 215 West, the coffee shop.
The Delta Center is less than one block away and the Salt Palace Convention Center is just minutes away. Located in Salt Lake City’s growing city center, the hotel is within walking distance to nearby mountains, entertainment venues and local attractions.
The renovated design blends clean Scandinavian style with Salt Lake City’s natural landscape, featuring organic shapes, copper accents and warm wood tones. All 381 guest rooms reflect the hues of mountain sunsets and feature in-room refreshment centers with mini-refrigerators, coffee makers and microwaves, as well as executive desks. The on-site restaurant, Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern, has expanded its space with a seasonal patio that can serve as a venue for pre- and post-events.
All 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space is equipped with modern AV technology, including new control systems, ceiling-mounted projectors and six 70-inch monitors for flexible use. In addition, the ballroom features a drop-down screen.
The hotel is embarking on the second phase of renovations that will update the pool and hot tub areas and usher in the grand opening of 215 West in early 2025.
