BMW will launch the new M4 CS high-performance sedan in India on October 4, bringing this high-performance model to the market with enhanced features and functionality. Positioned between the standard M4 and the more extreme M4 GTS, the M4 CS is designed to deliver a track-focused driving experience while retaining everyday usability. It’s powered by a powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that produces impressive horsepower and torque. The M4 CS also features lightweight materials, improved aerodynamics and advanced technology, all designed to improve speed and handling. Due to its niche appeal, the sedan is expected to be launched as a limited-edition model in the Indian market. It is likely to arrive via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.

New BMW M4 CS: Design
The latest version of the M4 CS features a wider kidney grille, sharper, more angular lines and eye-catching yellow inlaid headlights, reflecting BMW’s evolving design philosophy. These design elements emphasize its motorsport heritage and give the car an aggressive and bold appearance, especially when viewed from the front. The rear is equally eye-catching, with M-specific design cues and strong lines that underline its performance-oriented character.
The new BMW M4 CS: cabin
BMW’s renowned minimalist design philosophy is combined with racing-inspired components inside the M4 CS. The carbon fiber racing seats have unique CS badges embroidered on the headrests, highlighting the vehicle’s aggressive design. While maintaining the luxury and refinement expected from BMW, the cabin’s overall performance-oriented vibe is enhanced by the steering wheel’s squared-off design and subdued M branding. Additional interior trim includes a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a curved display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
New BMW M4 CS: Powertrain options
The M4 CS is powered by BMW’s acclaimed 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six petrol engine, which produces an impressive 550 hp and 649 Nm of torque. The power unit enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and to 200 km/h in 11.1 seconds, underscoring its racing capabilities. The electronically controlled top speed is 303 km/h. The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is powered via BMW M’s dedicated xDrive all-wheel drive system, providing outstanding traction and control both at highway speeds and when cornering hard.

New BMW M4 CS: expected price
While official pricing information will be revealed during the launch, industry speculation is that the ex-showroom price will start at over Rs 150 crore, which will make the M4 CS a premium option in the sports coupe segment. In our market it will rival the likes of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, Audi RS5 and the upcoming Maserati Gran Turismo.
