New Hyundai Alcazar TVC starring Shah Rukh Khan

The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift is available in four trim levels, 24 variants, two engine options and seven exterior colours

Hyundai recently launched the 2024 Alcazar facelift, which is scheduled to go on sale on September 9. Bookings are currently being accepted for a booking fee of Rs 25,000. The Alcazar facelift is available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. Now, Hyundai has released a new TVC starring its brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan.

Alcazar facelift engine options

While the Alcazar facelift introduces a host of new features, the powertrain options remain the same as before. The 1.5-litre diesel CRDi engine produces 116 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The 1.5-litre petrol turbo GDi engine produces 160 PS and 253 Nm. Users can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT transmission. The Eco, Comfort and Sport driving modes have been retained. Additionally, the Snow, Sand and Mud traction control modes remain the same as before.

Alcazar facelift

There are four trim levels – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. Hyundai Alcazar diesel manual models include 1.5 MT Executive 7S, 1.5 MT Platinum 7S, 1.5 MT Platinum 7S DT and 1.5 MT Prestige 7S. Those who opt for the automatic can choose from eight models. These include 1.5 AT Platinum 6S, 1.5 AT Platinum 6S DT, 1.5 AT Platinum 7S, 1.5 AT Platinum 7S DT, 1.5 AT Signature 6S, 1.5 AT Signature 6S DT, 1.5 AT Signature 7S and 1.5 AT Signature 7S DT.

Those who want a petrol manual can choose from the 1.5T MT Executive 7S, 1.5T MT Platinum 7S, 1.5T MT Platinum 7S DT and 1.5T MT Prestige 7S. DCT variants include the Alcazar 1.5T DCT Platinum 6S, 1.5T DCT Platinum 6S DT, 1.5T DCT Platinum 7S, 1.5T DCT Platinum 7S DT, 1.5T DCT Signature 6S, 1.5T DCT Signature 6S DT, 1.5T DCT Signature 7S and 1.5T DCT Signature 7S DT.

The premium variant of the Hyundai Alcazar facelift adds several new features. It includes dual 10.25-inch screens, automatic climate control, and over 70 connected car features. Focusing on user safety, all variants come with 40 safety features as standard. The top variant offers over 70 safety features. It includes an ADAS suite, which is expected to be similar to that of the new Creta.

Features that will carry over include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a dual-camera dashcam setup. Other highlights include a Bose premium audio system, an air purifier with AQI display, USB charging ports for all rows, and a wireless smartphone charger. Safety kit includes ESC, front and rear parking sensors, 6 airbags, vehicle stability management, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill start assist control, and a surround view monitor.

Alcazar Refinish Color Options

For both petrol and diesel models, users can choose from seven colour options. These colours include Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Solid Emerald Pearl, Starry Night and Titan Grey Matte. Among them, the newly added colours include Fiery Red and Solid Emerald Pearl. The Typhoon Silver colour offered on the outgoing model has been discontinued.

The starting price of the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to be around Rs 1.70 lakh. It will continue to challenge rivals like the Tata Safari, XUV700, and MG Hector Plus.
