

Mahindra is gearing up for the grand global premiere of its latest electric SUVs BE 6e and XEV 9e at Unlimit India on November 26, 2024
Mahindra continues to accelerate its electric vehicle (EV) momentum with new teaser images showcasing the interiors and design of its much-anticipated electric SUVs, XEV 9e and BE 6e. As Mahindra strengthens its electric vehicle lineup, these upcoming models are expected to create buzz in the Indian and international markets.
Stunning interiors with high-tech appeal
Mahindra has officially revealed the interiors of the two electric SUVs through a new teaser. The interior design of the BE 6e features a futuristic cockpit-like experience with a distinct split center console and dual-screen display setup, creating an immersive and technologically advanced driving atmosphere.

The steering wheel features an illuminated BE logo, enhancing the SUV’s modern aesthetic. Ambient lighting and intricate details throughout the cabin add to the luxurious feel. Both SUVs feature a glass roof on top.

The XEV 9e, on the other hand, further enhances the gaming experience with a three-screen layout that covers almost the entire width of the dashboard. This feature provides an advanced digital interface that allows drivers to easily access a variety of infotainment and vehicle control functions. The cab features a white interior, reflecting a premium atmosphere.

Appearance Highlights and Design Language
The SUVs showcase aerodynamic body lines, gloss black fascias and unique C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL). The BE 6e maintains a modern and aggressive appearance with a striking split rear spoiler and angular LED taillights.

The XEV 9e has a coupe-style roofline, enclosed front grille and vertical headlights that add to its bold appearance. Pop-up flush door handles and aerodynamic wheels create a premium feel, while unique copper-edged window lines contrast with the overall design.

performance expectations
Although Mahindra has yet to reveal detailed powertrain specifications, it is speculated that both the BE 6e and XEV 9e will be equipped with battery packs ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh. Potential configurations include single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setups. It is expected to have a range of approximately 500 kilometers, with fast charging capabilities supporting 175 kW DC charging, which can charge the battery to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.
