New Maruti Dzire interior and exterior explained

The fourth generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is on full display in new images that have surfaced online recently. The company’s sedan features a new design language that differentiates it from the current generation and new Swift hatchback. The front looks quite refreshing, with a redesigned grille, distinctive headlights and new LED DRLs, as well as a revised front bumper. The hood has also been updated. The new Maruti Dzire comes with a set of diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the rest of its side profile looks similar to the outgoing version.

The tailgate design looks new, with a Y-shaped LED element and a chrome strip that spans the two instrument clusters. The rear bumper has been revised with contour elements and a trunk lid. Some new paint schemes may join the existing color palette, which includes Blue Black, Arctic White, Phoenix Red, Premium Silver, Oxford Blue, Magma Grey, and Sherwood Brown.

Its interior also received comprehensive changes. The new Maruti Dzire comes with a floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The semi-digital instrument cluster has also been updated and now features a larger MID (Multi Information Display). The first-ever electric sunroof further highlights the uniqueness of the 2024 Maruti Dzire. The compact sedan will also come standard with features such as a 360-degree camera, automatic air conditioning, USB Type-C charging port, cruise control and six airbags.

In terms of power, the new Maruti Dzire will use a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine to replace the existing 1.2-liter 4-cylinder K-series engine. It’s the same unit that powers the Swift, with power and torque outputs of 82bhp and 112Nm respectively. The compact sedan will be available with 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT gearbox options.
