
Maruti Suzuki will announce the price of the next-gen Dzire in India on November 11. The compact sedan is expected to have a major impact on the segment with its unique design and features. It is speculated that it will be powered by the Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine that debuted in the new Swift in May. The car is currently available for booking at Rs 11,000 and is expected to start at around Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the new Dzire will compete with the Honda Amaze (which will also get a facelift).

Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Exteriors, Interiors and Features
According to the official teaser and spy shots, the upcoming Dzire has several unique design elements such as a large grille with multiple horizontal slats, stylish LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, and improved fog lamps shell. It also gets updated bumpers (front and rear), new dual-tone alloys and new Y-shaped LED taillights with thin metal strips.
Maruti Suzuki has not confirmed any details yet, but the car is expected to feature an updated steering wheel, a 9-inch freestanding touchscreen display, and a dashboard similar to the new Swift. It may come with cruise control, automatic air conditioning with rear vents, wireless phone charger, single-pane sunroof (segment priority), rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera (segment priority) and six airbags (standard) .
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Powertrain
The new Dzire is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-series petrol engine. In the Swift, this engine produces 81bhp of maximum power and 112Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include 5-speed manual and AMT. For the uninitiated, Maruti Suzuki launched the CNG version of the Swift in India in September. The petrol engine produces 69 hp and 101.8 Nm of power with a factory-installed CNG kit. Although it is not confirmed, the Dzire may also come with a CNG option, similar to the hatchback.
