
Nissan Magnite SUV has exported over 2,700 units within a month of its launch. Notably, South Africa is the first country in the world to receive the recently updated car. Nissan claims that global sales of the Magnite have exceeded 150,000 units since its launch in 2020. The company now plans to export the new Magnite to more than 65 overseas countries, including left-hand drive countries, to maintain its appeal. For the uninitiated, the revamped SUV was launched in India last month at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. It comes in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+.

Nissan Magnite: Engine
The facelifted Magnite is available with a choice of 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) engine (71bhp/96Nm) or 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (99bhp/160Nm). Transmission options include a five-speed manual (standard on both engines) and a CVT automatic (turbo petrol). Interestingly, the NA petrol engine is also available with an optional five-speed automatic gearbox. The manual version of the SUV has a driving range of 20 km/l, while the automatic version has a fuel efficiency of 17.4 km/l.

Nissan Magnite: Features
The redesigned Magnite features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sunroof, automatic climate control, start/stop button, steering gear, 7-inch digital instrument cluster with enhanced graphics, 360-degree surround view monitoring (AVM), continuous multi-color ambient lighting, cruise control, traction control, rear AC vents, cluster ionizer, with EBD ‘s ABS, new key fob start with remote control, six airbags (standard), hill start assist, USB Type-C port and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
