Nissan Magnite prepaid maintenance plan launched, promises

Nissan has launched a maintenance plan for its recently updated SUV Magnite at a cost of 39 paise per kilometer (50,000 km). The SUV also comes with a basic warranty of 3 years (1,00,000 km), which can be extended to 6 years or 1,50,000 km at a small additional charge. It includes four labor-free services, cashless repairs and unlimited claims at approved service centers across the country. The carmaker also announced ‘Nissan Magnite Care’ prepaid plan that offers savings of up to 21%. This program guarantees smooth maintenance using genuine parts and diagnostic tools, avoiding costly repairs while maintaining comfort and peak performance. It is transferable and comes in two levels (Silver and Gold). “Silver” is for basic maintenance, while “Gold” provides comprehensive maintenance.

Nissan Magnite: Engine

The Magnite is available with a choice of two engines: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The NA petrol unit produces 71 hp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol engine produces 99 hp and 160 Nm of torque. The former can be paired with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The latter, on the other hand, comes with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

Nissan Magnite: Features

Magnite comes packed with features including start/stop button, controls on the steering wheel, 7-inch digital instrument cluster with improved graphics, new key fob with remote start, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless capabilities Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, sunroof, automatic climate control, continuous multi-color ambient lighting, standard six airbags, hill start assist, USB Type-C port, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESC) and auto-dimming IRVM.
