Nissan Charges More For 2025 Pathfinder But Only Adds Power Liftgate And Free Oil Changes
  • The new 2025 Pathfinder starts at $37,070 and tops out at $51,810.
  • Nissan continues to offer this SUV in rugged Rock Creek style.
  • There are many options in this series.

Nissan has made very, very few updates to the Pathfinder for the 2025 model year, but that hasn’t stopped it from raising prices across the entire lineup. Fortunately, the price increase is relatively small and new car buyers don’t have to worry too much.

Like last year, the base model for 2025 is the Pathfinder S 2WD, which now starts at $37,070, up slightly from last year’s $36,650. The two-wheel-drive range also includes SV, SL and Platinum models, currently priced at $40,060, $43,260 and $49,810 respectively. Those prices are slightly higher than last year’s $39,470, $43,070, and $49,620—nothing to write home about, but enough to notice when you write your check.

Shoppers can choose from at least five different all-wheel-drive models. Pathfinder S 4WD starts at $39,070, while the 2024 model starts at $38,550. Prices then rise to $42,060 and $45,260 for the SV 4WD and SL 4WD, a few hundred bucks more than last year’s $41,370 and $44,970. The top of the standard range is the Pathfinder Platinum 4WD, priced at $51,810, up from $51,520 in 2024.

Customers who want the most off-road style of their Pathfinder can continue to choose Rock Creek 4WD. It starts at $45,160, compared with last year’s starting price of $44,470.

2025 Nissan Pathfinder Price

There are only two changes for the 2025 model. The first is making a power liftgate standard on SV and Rock Creek grades. Second, all 2025 Pathfinder models now come standard with Nissan Maintenance Care, which includes up to three scheduled oil changes in the first two years or up to 24,000 miles.

As for options, if you want to add some extra features, the 2025 model offers quite a few. Premium paint is $425, LED fog lights are $350, a black appearance package is $485, splash guards are $255, running boards are $745, and a cargo package is $355. Choose wisely, or not choose. Dealers will love you no matter what.

Same V6 power

There are no changes under the hood, with the Pathfinder’s roar still coming from a 3.5-liter V6 good for 284 hp (212 kW / 288 PS) and 259 lb-ft (351 Nm) of torque. But if you’re looking at the off-road Rock Creek trim, things are slightly different, thanks to tweaked fuel mapping that kicks in at up to 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm). It’s not a huge leap, but it’s enough to make you feel more invincible by the end of the pavement.
