NJCAA selects Wichita, Kansas, as site for its upcoming football tournament

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has selected Wichita, Kansas to host its football championships.

WICHITA, Kansas —The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has designated Wichita, Kansas, as the host city for the upcoming NJCAA Division I and Division II Soccer Championships. Wichita Tourism will host the NJCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships in 2025 and the NJCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championships in 2026 and 2027.

“Our partnership with the NJCAA is an integral part of building sports tourism for Wichita and the surrounding area. We look forward to once again showcasing all that the Wichita region has to offer teams, coaches and fans while cheering on the NJCAA’s talented student-athletes,” said Josh Howell, Vice President of Sports Development for Visit Wichita.

The 2025 DII Men’s and Women’s Football Championships will be held from November 16 to 22, 2025.

Jay Mehrhoff, NJCAA DII Men’s Soccer Chairman, said, “SCHEELS Stryker Sports Center and Wichita Tourism have done an outstanding job as past hosts for the NJCAA DI and DII Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships. The facility and on-site staff are first class and provide the NJCAA National Championship participants with memorable moments that will last a lifetime.”

The 2026 and 2027 DI Men’s Soccer Championships will be held from November 15-21, 2026 and November 14-20, 2027.

“We feel that with the experience, location, hospitality and professionalism of Wichita Visitors, this is a great venue to return to in 2026 and 2027,” said Vince Gibson, NJCAA DI Men’s Soccer Chairman.
