Now all Honda cars are E20 compatible now – run on ethanol mixture

Honda Motor India has been certified for E20 (20% ethanol blend) petrol compliance, including existing models such as Amaze, City, City, City, City E:HEV and Elevate. The automaker also revealed that all its cars are made from 1British stone January 2009 compliant with E20. So Honda customers can use E20 gasoline even in older Honda cars without charging any part of the car.

Indian government has announced E20 compliance will be mandatory for all combustion engines before 1British stone April 2025. This means that all vehicles will be able to mix with 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline fuel.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Honda Motor India Ltd., said: “At Honda Motor India, we are committed to promoting sustainable mobility solutions and all of our cars have been E20 compatible since January 2009. The materials allow our customers to seamlessly adopt greener E20 fuel without any modifications. Prior to the introduction of PAN India E20 fuel, the latest compliance certifications for all our current models are aligned with the Indian government’s goal of implementing green fuels. HCil will continue to stay at the forefront as India moves towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.”
