In 2025, Ottawa will welcome a new, state-of-the-art venue. The venue is being developed by Live Nation Canada, Canada’s leading entertainment provider, and is expected to open in 2025. This exciting new facility will significantly enhance Ottawa’s event capabilities by transforming the former downtown Chapters Bookstore into a premier destination for live events.
Located at 47 Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa, this new 2,500-person venue provides an intimate and dynamic setting for a variety of gatherings, from corporate events and conferences to concerts and comedy shows.
Lesley Pincombe, deputy director-general of Tourism Ottawa, said: “Due to its vibrant urban setting and size, the venue is likely to become a popular venue for a variety of events – from the corporate and association sectors to entertainment and Arts Field” President of Business and Major Events. “With the opening of this new venue, Ottawa’s events infrastructure will take another giant step forward as it attracts top talent and provides significant opportunities for organizations to host impactful and memorable gatherings.”
The new Live Nation venue will feature state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems to ensure an unparalleled audio and visual experience, as well as a variety of amenities including multiple bars and flexible seating arrangements.
The venue is ideally located near Ottawa’s major transportation hubs, offering easy access to public transportation and ample parking to ensure convenience for attendees from near and far. The hotel’s central location, within walking distance of numerous hotels, restaurants and attractions, is the perfect place for event attendees to explore the city.
