To keep you up to date with the latest Paris Motor Show-related news, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of upcoming debut cars – both confirmed and rumored. We’ll keep it updated as automakers continue to release hints and teasers, so stay tuned.
Alpine A390_β concept car
Alpine is ready to show us its first crossover, the A390_β concept. Teasers and spy shots reveal a sporty coupe-SUV stance, as well as aggressive styling details. The all-electric powertrain is expected to produce up to 600 horsepower from a dual-motor setup, giving it all-wheel drive capability.
The concept car will debut on October 11, followed by its first public appearance in Paris. The production version is expected to be launched next year as a competitor to the Porsche Macan EV.
Alpenglow Hy6 concept car
The French brand will also showcase an evolution of its hydrogen-powered supercar concept, originally launched in 2022. The new version will replace the original model’s four-cylinder engine with a more powerful V6 engine, also powered by hydrogen. Alpenglow may be a rolling laboratory for new technology, but Alpine hints that it could potentially develop into a production product by 2028.
BMW iX3 (not confirmed)
BMW is about to enter a new era with its upcoming models using the electrified Neue Klasse architecture. Although unconfirmed, the Bavarian automaker may use the Paris Motor Show to debut the new iX3, which was teased earlier this year with the Vision Neue Klasse X concept.
The all-electric SUV will come with single-motor and dual-motor setups, and an M-branded version is rumored to be launched soon. The BMW iX3 will be sold alongside the unrelated X3, which has moved on after its recent facelift. (Illustration: Josh Burns/Carscoops)
Citroen C4 facelift
The Citroën C4 and C4-X will receive a mid-cycle refresh, adopting the brand’s latest design language, as seen on the C3 and C3 Aircross. Exterior modifications will focus on the front and rear, with a cleaner lighting design and a new double V-shaped logo. Spy photos show that the interior changes will be more subtle. The powertrain lineup is expected to remain unchanged, with the crossover continuing to offer Stellantis’ mild-hybrid and EV options.
dacia bigaster
The Dacia Bigster marks the Romanian brand’s entry into the compact SUV segment, aiming to offer a blend of practicality and rugged style at an affordable price. Based on the 2021 concept, the production version could be an expanded version of the Dacia Duster, sharing its CMF-B platform and powertrain options.
The Bigster is expected to stretch to approximately 4.6 meters (181 inches), making it Dacia’s longest model to date. The elongated body will provide the option of three rows of seats, although the entry-level trim will likely come with two rows of seats and a larger cargo area. Ford Puma GEN-E (not confirmed)
Ford Puma GEN-E is about to challenge Stellantis Group’s all-electric subcompact SUV. A roof-top grille and some EV-specific design elements will differentiate it from the internal combustion Puma range, which received a facelift earlier this year.
The electric powertrain could come from the mechanically related Ford E-Tourneo Custom, with an output of 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS). Production of the Ford Puma GEN-E and its ICE-powered version will take place in Craiova, Romania.
Mini JCW E (not confirmed)
Mini plans to expand its JCW line-up with a range of combustion engine-powered and fully electric models. Both the Mini John Cooper Works E and the petrol-powered hatchback are confirmed to debut this autumn, so it’s possible one of them will show up in Paris.
The most powerful version of the electric hatchback was recently unveiled in China, showing off its exterior design and key specs. According to official documentation, a single electric motor produces 255 hp (190 kW / 258 PS), paired with a JCW-specific body kit and chassis setup.
Peugeot E-408
Peugeot has expanded its 408 crossover lineup with the launch of the all-electric E-408, which already includes ICE, hybrid and PHEV models. The electric car features a 207-horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels, paired with a 58.2-kilowatt-hour battery that delivers 282 miles of range—respectable, but not exactly outstanding in today’s EV market. Charging speeds are also disappointing, with a maximum power of 120 kW, lagging behind rivals such as the Kia EV6. Buyers can choose between Allure and GT trims.
Renault 4 E-Tech
The new R4 E-Tech will soon be joined by the R5 E-Tech supermini, bringing nostalgic styling cues from the original in the form of an all-electric crossover. The production model will be a more low-profile version of the 2022 4EVER Trophy concept, with smaller wheels and revised bumpers.
The R4 E-Tech is built on the AmpR small EV architecture (formerly known as CMF-BEV) and will likely share powertrain options with the smaller R5 E-Tech. The retro-style crossover will compete in the crowded subcompact SUV segment as an electric rival to the Renault Captur. (Illustration: Jean-Francois Hubert/SB Media)
Renault 17 Electric Restomod
With the tuning business booming, Renault decided to try its hand at revamping a classic model: the Renault 17 from the 1970s. Working with French designer Ora Ito, the coupe’s exterior now features stylish LED lights and new wheels, while maintaining the proportions of the original. The interior has been completely revamped with cutting-edge technology.
Under the surface, the R17 has an all-new carbon fiber chassis, and its internal combustion engine has been replaced by an electric motor driving the rear wheels. Sadly, the R17 Electric Restomod won’t go into production and will likely remain a one-off product.
Renault Relay Concept
Renault is bringing back the ’60s Estaffette nameplate with a new electric van. The Renault Estaffette concept is a production LCV expected to be launched in 2026 with a retro-futuristic style and a very cool interior. The van is based on the FlexEVan architecture developed in partnership with Volvo and logistics company CMA CGM. Thanks to clever packaging, it’s 4,870 mm (191.7 inches) long but has a load capacity of 7.1 square meters (250.7 cubic feet).
skoda airlock
The Skoda Elroq is a fully electric compact SUV based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. It adopts Skoda’s latest design language for the first time, featuring the ‘Tech-Deck Face’. A zero-emissions alternative to the ICE-powered Karoq, the Elroq will be available in three powertrain and battery configurations, with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. Power output is as high as 282 horsepower, and the maximum cruising range on the WLTP cycle is 361 miles (581 kilometers).
Volkswagen Talon
Volkswagen continues to expand its SUV lineup with new models. The latest addition is called the Tayron, which is the replacement for the three-row Tiguan Allspace. The new model is expected to adopt the Tiguan name in the United States and recently appeared as the Tayron L in China.
The new SUV is expected to share its MQB Evo base and electrified powertrain options with the slightly smaller EU-spec Volkswagen Tiguan. The Tayron will be unveiled on October 10, just before its public debut at the Paris Motor Show.
