Pininfarina reveals mysterious one-off model ahead of Monterey

Monterey Car Week is almost here, and this year’s event will feature a ton of high-end exotic cars and customer creations. One of those will be from Automobili Pininfarina, and it’s been previewed by a teaser image.

The mystery model is a one-off commissioned by a current owner of the Battista all-electric hypercar. Pininfarina describes it as a “completely new vehicle,” indicating it was built from the ground up, adding that it was created to “stand out in terms of design and technology.”

The teaser is a bit cryptic, and it’s hard to tell which part of the car it depicts. We can see it’s painted satin silver and appears to carry an illuminated Pininfarina badge. It also appears to be supporting a small red light strip.

With this car, we deliver on the promise we made 12 months ago when we launched the B95 Hyper Barchetta in Monterey – that we have the design, engineering and hand-production skills in Cambiano, Italy to create bespoke ‘one-of-a-kind’ masterpieces for our customers. One year later, this amazing car gives us another opportunity to celebrate our ability to make their dreams come true.”

This one-of-a-kind car isn’t the only one Pininfarina is showing at Monterey. The week-long celebration will also feature a Battista Owners Parade, with 10 of the ballistic electric hypercars scheduled to be on display.
