Porsche will join new infotainment events in the app era in 2026

The latest system will be launched in 2026 Cayenne, Panamera, Taycan and 911, with greater computing power and improved responsiveness. This means that users will be able to easily download popular apps such as Spotify and YouTube.

The pilot will also find Amazon Alexa, who joins the Porsche voice pilot as the second digital assistant. Its capabilities are great with the Echo device, because users can say something in the way “Alexa, play country music”. Alexa can also tell you the news and weather and all kinds of other things.

Speaking of music, enthusiasts will be excited about the arrival of Dolby Atmos technology. It can be found in vehicles equipped with high-end and high-end audio systems from Bose and Burmester. Porsche claims that the Dolby Atmosphere “creates a spatial sound experience for the crew” because “sound can be placed anywhere around the audience and replicated with unparalleled clarity, depth and precision.”

Last but not least, the Porsche Connection will be standard on the aforementioned models for 10 years. This adds seven years of growth and it offers considerable savings as the subscription is currently priced at $229 per year after three years of trial.
