PSA International (PSA) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have launched the PSA-NUS Supply Chain Living Lab, a collaborative initiative aimed at solving key supply chain challenges through innovation and sustainability. Backed by PSA’s funding of up to S$10 million, the lab will focus on enhancing supply chain agility, resilience and sustainability regionally and globally.

The Supply Chain Living Lab will serve as a proving ground for developing community-focused solutions in partnership with industry stakeholders. By leveraging academic expertise and industry insights, the program aims to foster transformative innovation, optimize logistics, advance data-driven decision-making, and promote sustainable practices in supply chain operations.

NUS President Professor Tan Eng Choi highlighted the importance of the programme, saying: “PSA-NUS Supply Chain Living Lab embodies synergy between academia and industry. By promoting research and development, we aim to is to provide innovative solutions that enhance the resilience and efficiency of supply chains, ultimately benefiting communities and economies around the world.”
The collaboration is in line with PSA’s wider strategic plans, including the development of the PSA Supply Chain Center (PSCH) within the Tuas Port ecosystem. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the PSCH facility will seamlessly integrate with Singapore’s supply chain network, enhancing connectivity and creating unparalleled synergies within the ecosystem.
The PSA-NUS Supply Chain Living Lab highlights a shared commitment to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence, paving the way for more resilient and efficient global supply chains.
