Renault India donates vehicles to Indian Army’s Northern Region

As a significant show of support, Renault India has donated a batch of vehicles including Renault Kwid, Kiger and Triber to the 14 Corps of the Indian Army’s Northern Command.

Each of the vehicles donated by Renault is equipped with a variety of features that make it ideally suited to meet the transportation needs of Northern Command:

• Renault Kwid: Known for its affordable price and feature-rich package, the Kwid comes with an 8-inch touchscreen media navigation system, making it the most affordable hatchback in its class to offer such an advanced infotainment system. Safety is a top priority with over 14 standard safety features, including rear seatbelt reminders.
• Renault Triber: Triber is designed to cater to the needs of Indian families with a spacious and modular design. The car has a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless charger and additional features like driver seat armrest and power folding ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors) making it versatile and convenient for both family and business use.
• Renault Capgemini: Renault’s sports SUV Kiger comes with luxurious semi-leatherette seats and a leatherette steering wheel, ensuring a premium driving experience. It also features auto-folding ORVMs and frameless auto-dimming IRVMs (interior rear view mirror). Kiger’s TURBO engine variants now include red brake calipers, adding to the sporty feel, while the new RXL and RXT(O) models expand the lineup.

Strengthen national defense

The Northern Command operates in some of the country’s most challenging environments and the Renault Kwid, Kiger and Triber are expected to meet the mobility and logistics needs of the Northern Command, providing reliable transportation for a variety of missions.
