Renee’ Browning Named Arthur R. Outlaw General Manager

Respected former regional sales director for mobile venues returns to lead new efforts

MOBILE, Ala. – Oak View Group, operator of The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center and Mobile Saenger Theater, today named Renee’ Browning, a seasoned industry veteran and former Mobile Civic Center executive, as the facility’s new manager. The operator has a new general manager.

Browning brings a proven track record of success to her new role in Mobile. Prior to joining Oak View Group in Mobile, she served as assistant general manager of the Broward Convention Center, where she led a $1.4 billion expansion project from conception to near completion while ensuring Seamless business operations.

Browning previously served as regional sales director at the Mobile Convention Center for 13 years, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the region. Her deep connections to the mobility community, coupled with her extensive background in event management, make her the ideal candidate to lead Oak View Group’s collective efforts in the future of these iconic venues.
