Rimac Nevera R: The world’s fastest electric supercar

Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili has unveiled the Rimac Nevera R, a groundbreaking electric supercar that sets new performance standards. Debuting at the prestigious Monterey Car Week, the Rimac Nevera R is an upgraded version of the already record-breaking Nevera, with improvements in power, aerodynamics and chassis technology.

Rimac Nevera R Price: $2.5 Million Electric Masterpiece

Priced at approximately $2.5 million (Rs. 21 crore), the Rimac Nevera R is both expensive and one-of-a-kind. With only 40 units produced, this hypercar is a limited edition masterpiece that is expected to sell out quickly. Rimac has already started accepting pre-orders, underscoring the exclusivity of this car.

Rimac Nevera R performance: 2,107 hp

The heart of the Rimac Nevera R is the powertrain, which consists of four permanent magnet electric motors, one for each wheel. This setup produces an astonishing 2,107 horsepower, an increase of 193 horsepower over its predecessor, the Rimac Nevera. The Nevera R accelerates from 0-100 km/h in an astonishing 1.81 seconds, reaches 200 km/h in just 4.38 seconds, and reaches 300 km/h in just 8.66 seconds.

Breakthrough speed and aerodynamics

The Rimac Nevera R not only has powerful power, but also excellent aerodynamics and handling performance. Under the supervision of the manufacturer, the Nevera R can reach a top speed of 412 km/h, with a lower body, better grip and greater downforce. Key aerodynamic features include a large carbon fiber rear wing, air intakes and diffuser, which together increase aerodynamic efficiency by 10% and downforce by 15%.

Advanced chassis and braking systems

To control the enormous power, the Rimac Nevera R is equipped with new carbon-ceramic EVO2 brakes with a silicone matrix layer. These brakes are paired with 20-inch and 21-inch Michelin Cup 2 tires optimized for track and road conditions. In addition, Rimac’s all-wheel torque technology enhances torque vectoring for more responsive and precise cornering.

Innovative battery technology

The Rimac Nevera R is powered by an advanced 108 kWh battery pack consisting of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. The battery supports peak charging rates of up to 500 kW and is expected to have a range of approximately 400 km. Despite the Nevera R’s performance, its efficiency remains unchanged thanks to these state-of-the-art battery improvements.
