No American company does tuning like Ringbrothers, and the tuning company just unveiled one of the craziest creations yet at SEMA. It’s a bright pink 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda called “Infected” that has been completely overhauled inside and out and under the skin.
Ringbrothers says it took them 5,600 hours to bring this dramatic Cuda to life. The foundation of this extreme muscle car is a custom Roadster Shop chassis that extends the wheelbase by 1.5 inches. New independent rear suspension and Fox RS SV shock absorbers were added at all four corners. There’s also a new front stabilizer bar up front and a custom Woodward steering rack.

The stunning bodywork was completely overhauled and bathed in a custom color known as “Pink Eyes.” The HRE’s set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels add to the striking look, and the giant scoop on the custom hood could swallow a small child. Plenty of chrome and black accents complete the look.
Then let’s talk about the powertrain. Ringbrothers has installed one of Mopar’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 “Hellcrate” engines with a cool 807 horsepower and 717 pound-feet (972 Nm) of torque, matching it to a Tremec TR-6060 six-speed transaxle , drives the rear wheels through the driver. Wavetrac differential. A custom exhaust and custom headers were also added. No acceleration figures have been released yet, but we’re sure “the Cuda is definitely a weapon.” That’s probably quite a lot too.
Sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires help transfer power to the ground, while aftermarket Bell brakes ensure braking is as good as acceleration.
There’s a lot to like about the Infected’s hut, too. It’s been completely revamped by Upholstery Unlimited in luxurious white leather that contrasts with a black leather surface finished with white contrast stitching. There’s also plenty of carbon fiber trim, Dakota Digital custom gauges, a new steering wheel, and Vintage Air climate control. A powerful sound system with dual 10-inch subwoofers completes the upgrade.
