Rockland Community College Eugene Levy Arena(Rockland Community College Field House) In New York, it is the State University of New York. The college was founded in 1959, becoming the 18th community college to join the SUNY system. The college offers 51 associate degree and certificate programs. In addition, students can earn other degrees, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Arts in Arts and Sciences, Doctoral programs in Administrative Leadership (EDD), Technology, and Health Professions, while taking classes at Rockland through programs with four-year schools.
The current student body is approximately 7,500 full- and part-time students, including 125 international students from more than 50 foreign countries and approximately 800 high school students enrolled in credit courses. The college has more than 525 full- and part-time faculty members, many with a student-to-faculty ratio of 22:1. Rockland has the third highest transfer rate in the SUNY system, and continuing education programs offer approximately 3,500 services each year.
