Royal Enfield Classic 650 Launched – Price, Specifications, Features

Royal Enfield Classic 650 is finally here. The Chennai-based two-wheeler maker has announced its price, engine specifications and all key details. The bike’s lineup is divided into three trims – popular, classic and chrome plated, at Rs 3.37 lakh, Rs 3.41 lakh and Rs 3.45 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh (former showroom, Chennai). From today onwards, pre-orders, testing and sales are beginning nationwide.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 Colors

The entry-level Hotrod variant comes in two color schemes – Vallam Red and Bruntingthorpe Blue, while the classic and chrome trim are available in chrome tones in teal and black, respectively.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 Engine Specifications

To use the power supply, the new RE Classic 650 uses the famous 647.95cc, twin-cylinder inline, four-stroke SOHC engine. The motor generates a maximum power of 47.6ps at 7,250rpm and a torque of 52.3nm at 5,650rpm. The bike has a 6-speed constant grid that performs transmission work.

Suspension, brakes and tires:

The bike is the foundation of the steel pipe rotary frame and is equipped with Showa’s regular 43mm telescope fork and double impact rear suspension. It has 100/90 and 140/70 size tires on the 19-inch front and 18-inch rear tires, respectively. Braking duties are handled by hydraulic 320mm front and 300mm disc brakes with dual piston float calipers. It also has a dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

The new RE Classic 650 has a length of 2,250mm, a width of 892mm and a height of 1,137mm. Its wheelbase and ground clearance are 1,475mm and 154mm respectively. The seat height of the bicycle is 800mm. It weighs 243 kg (fuel + oil 90%) and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.7 liters.
