The upcoming Royal Enfield electric bike was recently caught on camera for the first time in Barcelona. The model will make its public debut at the 2024 EICMA show on November 4. The e-bike being monitored looks like leaked patent applications by the manufacturer. It comes with a round LED headlight, teardrop-shaped fascia, adjustable levers, round mirrors, handlebar-mounted indicators and alloy wheels. Its TFT screen seems to be borrowed from the RE Himalayan 450.
You can notice that RE’s e-bike has a lot of aluminum body structure, which suggests it will be lightweight. The bike’s frame structure hints that there will be a non-removable battery. The specifications of the upcoming Royal Enfield electric bike are still under wraps. However, the driving range after a full charge may be 200 kilometers to 250 kilometers.
RE’s e-bike, codenamed Electrik01, will be based on the brand’s new “L” platform, which was jointly developed by Royal Enfield and Spanish electric two-wheeler manufacturer Stark Future SL.
The launch date and details of the Royal Enfield e-bike are yet to be announced. However, it could hit the road in early 2026. The electric bike is likely to be priced starting around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the Ultraviolette F77 and Raptee.HV T30.

Royal Enfield launches its first electric product that will target high-end motorcycle buyers. Its production will take place at Royal Enfield’s new manufacturing facility in Cheyyar, Chennai. The company plans to invest around Rs 1,000 crore in developing future products and setting up e-bike sales infrastructure.
