The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 has a stylish bobber design and retro-modern features like a lowered seat, mini ape drop handlebars and retro-style fenders.
Royal Enfield launches the Goan Classic 350, a stunning bobber motorcycle that will be officially launched at the 2024 Royal Enfield Motorcycle World at Vagator, Goa from November 22 to 24 . This new product marks a milestone as it is the first Royal Enfield model to bear the brand’s new logo.
Built on the J platform
The new Goan Classic 350 is the fifth model to use Royal Enfield’s versatile J platform, which has been seen on the Meteor 350, Hunter, Classic and Bullet. It is designed as a high-end lifestyle motorcycle, positioned higher than the Classic 350. It stands out with its teardrop-shaped fuel tank, retro-style round LED headlights and digital-analogue instrument cluster.
Goan 350 adopts a single-seat layout (seat height 750 mm), supplemented by U-shaped handlebars and front footpegs to create a relaxed riding posture. Whitewall tires, black exhaust tips, and spoked wheels give it a real bobber vibe.
The design sketches of the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 highlight several key float-specific features that make it unique. It includes a lowered rider seat for a relaxed riding position, a mini-ape drop handlebar for enhanced comfort and aesthetics, and unique beveled silencer ends. The design features short front fenders with fenders and tubeless retro-style tires for added durability and retro appeal.
At the rear, swingarm-mounted fenders, rigid fender stays and stylish taillight housings complete its classic silhouette. The bike also features LED headlights and blinkers, ensuring modern functionality within its retro-inspired design. Together, these elements enhance the Goan Classic’s position as the stylish, lifestyle-focused bobber in Royal Enfield’s lineup.
Engine specs and pricing
The motorcycle shares its engine with other J-series models. It is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. For the suspension, it features telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is controlled by disc brakes at both ends.
The Goan Classic 350 will compete with the Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak. Pricing will be higher than the Classic 350, which currently ranges between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
With its premium design, advanced features and focus on lifestyle-oriented customers, the Goan Classic 350 is sure to make a bold statement in the buoy segment. Stay tuned for its launch at Motoverse 2024 in Goa!
