Royal Enfield’s sales in July fell 8% year-on-year to 73,177 units

According to a recent announcement by Royal Enfield, their sales in July 2024 were 8% lower than July 2023. Last month, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer sold a total of 73,117 units. Meanwhile, in July 2023, the brand sold a total of 67,265 units. Commenting on the performance in July 2024, B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield said, “July was an exciting month for us as we launched our premium roadster – Guerrilla 450 in the vibrant city of Barcelona. The launch of Guerrilla 450 underscores our commitment to deliver world-class products for an exceptional motorcycling experience. We are extremely happy with the response we have received so far. With our focus on innovation and customer engagement, we have many more exciting announcements in store for motorcycle enthusiasts around the world.

Royal Enfield Sales: July 2024

By July 2024, exports were 6,057 and domestic sales were 61,208. This compares to 7,055 and 66,062 respectively by July 2023. So while exports were down 14%, domestic sales were down 7%.

Looking at the year-to-date figures, sales in 2023-2024 are over 273,000 units, while sales in 2024-2025 are close to 265,000 units. This represents a 3% decline. Overall sales fell from over 300,000 units to around 294,000 units, an overall decline of 2%. Notably, exports increased by 28,278 units to 27,590 units over the same period.

Royal Enfield Unlimited Warranty Plan

In addition, Royal Enfield has just launched the No Borders Warranty Program, which is backed by a global network of over 3,000 Royal Enfield authorised service points in over 70 countries.

The plan allows riders to claim Royal Enfield’s warranty from the company’s dealers and service centres when travelling abroad. The global warranty plan is applicable to all new Royal Enfield motorcycles as well as already purchased motorcycles that are currently under warranty. It does not apply to motorcycles that have been privately imported to other countries.
