Royal Enfield’s total sales increased by 2% year-on-year in 2017

Royal Enfield sold 82,257 units in November this year, an increase of 2% from 80,251 units in the previous year. Among them, the domestic market supply was 72,236 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 4%. However, exports were 10,021 units, a 96% increase from the 5,114 units shipped in November 2023. Royal Enfield’s sales grew by 4% between April and November 2024, with total sales of 6.47 lakh units. Global shipments increased 29% to 62,646 units, while domestic sales increased slightly by 2% to 584,000 units. This success demonstrates the brand’s strong market presence globally and in India.

Royal Enfield October 2024 sales: Quick review

Royal Enfield delivered more than 110,000 apartments in October this year, a year-on-year increase of 31%. International deliveries reached 8,688 vehicles, a significant increase of 150%. On the other hand, local sales were 102,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 26%. Year to date, Royal Enfield’s domestic market sales in FY25 are 513,000 units, a slight increase of 3%. Exports were 52,624 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 21%. Overall, the company supplied 565,000 units in fiscal 2025, up 4%.

Recently launched/debuted

At the 2024 Motoverse event, Royal Enfield launched the Goan Classic with a starting price of Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). This float-style machine comes in two variants and is based on the Classic 350. Its standout features are the tall ape-shaped handlebars and the split seat design with a floating rear seat unit. The bike comes in four colors: Trip Teal, Rave Red, Shack Black and Purple Haze. Carnival Red is a two-tone color while the other colors are single-tone.

The company also launched the Scram 440 at the event, which has a more powerful engine than its predecessor, the Scram 411. Unlike the latter, the new bike comes in two different versions: Trail and Force. The latter features cast aluminum wheels and tubeless tires.
