Seattle Pacific Science Center, USA(Pacific Science Center) is an independent, nonprofit science center located in Seattle, Washington, whose mission is to inspire curiosity and inspire a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking. The Pacific Science Center campus is adjacent to the Seattle Center, the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue, Washington, and communities and classrooms throughout Washington State.
The Pacific Science Center is located in the southwest corner of the Seattle Center and covers an area of 7.1 acres (29,000 square meters). The Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center is a satellite campus, a partnership between the Pacific Science Center and the City of Bellevue, Washington, that provides information for all ages on educational programs in environmental stewardship, wetland ecology, and nature awareness. The Pacific Science Center also offers year-round programs for teens, families, and adults, including summer camps at various Puget Sound sites, 21+ science events, and research weekends.
