Skoda Enyaq facelift to be launched in India

Skoda has given us an early preview of the new Enyaq via an official sketch that showcases the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, which includes elements such as a illuminated Tech-Deck Face, unique new bumpers, Skoda lettering and LED matrix beams Headlights. Unique dark chrome accents and exclusive Olibo Green accentuate the design. Additionally, the car benefits from enhanced aerodynamics. The facelifted Enyaq will also have a coupe, just like the current model, and official drawings give us an idea of what it will look like.

The coupe features a streamlined shape with a black roof and clean, flowing lines on the body. It features large alloy wheels and C-shaped taillights. The overall shape of the model in the sketch is more like a sedan than an SUV. However, we think the final coupe form will be revealed in the production version.

Although Skoda is yet to reveal details of the Enyaq facelift’s interior, we can expect a revamped cabin with improved features. In terms of performance, the facelifted model is likely to retain the same powertrain options as before, offering front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options, with the top model retaining all-wheel drive. The upgraded Enyaq is expected to have a driving range of up to 600 kilometers after being fully charged.

Skoda is yet to reveal its plans to launch the Enyaq facelift in India. However, market reports indicate that electric vehicles may become available as CBUs (Completely Built Units) sometime in 2025. More details about the vehicle are likely to be revealed at next year’s Bharat Mobile Expo.

Other highlights

Skoda Auto India plans to increase prices of all its models from January 2025 by up to 3%. Kushaq, Slavia, Superb and Kodiaq are among the vehicles that have seen a price hike.
