The most powerful Skoda Fabia is produced in a limited edition of 100 units, reserved exclusively for Spanish buyers
- The Skoda Fabia Rally2 by Cohete Suarez is a Spanish special edition inspired by rally racing.
- It features an ABT-tuned 188-horsepower engine, a lowered chassis, and sporty styling.
- A limited run of 100 units was produced to commemorate Cohete Suarez’s rally championship title.
Although the fourth-generation Skoda Fabia was the basis for a wild-looking rally car, it never got a hot hatch version on par with the closely related Volkswagen Polo GTI. Nonetheless, the latter served as the inspiration for the Fabia Rally2, a limited-edition subcompact hatchback for the Spanish market with performance upgrades by ABT Sportsline.
The Skoda Fabia Rally2 was created in memory of Asturian rally driver José Antonio “Cohete” Suárez, who won the Spanish Rally Super Championship (S-CER) in 2021 and 2023. The Fabia Rally2 therefore benefits from a power boost, making it the most powerful version of the Czech subcompact and elevating it into hot hatch territory.

The turbocharged 1.5-liter TSI four-cylinder engine is tuned to produce 188 hp (140 kW / 190 PS) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. This represents an increase of 39 hp (29 kW / 40 PS) and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) compared to the original, thanks to the ABT Sportsline package. Power is sent to the front wheels exclusively via a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
In addition to the extra oomph, the Fabia Rally2 features a sports chassis that is lowered by 15 mm (0.6 inches). It also comes with a new set of black 17-inch OZ Racing Superturismo WRC wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.
The Skoda Fabia Rally2 doesn’t have the wide body kit of a rally car, but it has some sporty touches to set it apart from other models. The highlight is the Mamba Green paint, which is usually exclusive to Skoda RS models. Furthermore, the bright hue matches the Fabia RS Rally2 driven by José Antonio Suárez and Alberto Iglesias Pin in the S-CER Championship.
Other motorsport references include a rear spoiler and matte black rear fenders. In terms of badges, there are ABT badges on the front fenders, Rally2 and “Cohete” Suarez badges on the tailgate, and a laurel wreath on the rear pillar to commemorate the victory in the Spanish Rally Super Championship.
Inside, the seats feature black upholstery, a sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, Rally2 badging and a numbered plate with the driver’s signature.

José Antonio “Cohete” Suarez said: “For me it is an honor and I am very excited. ŠKODA has given my name to a unique model that replicates the car we compete in.” “
Skoda Fabia Rally2 will be produced in 100 units, all reserved for the Spanish market. Unsurprisingly, the special edition is the most expensive version of the Fabia to date, priced at €30,900 ($33,461). The first deliveries will take place in March 2025. The first to place an order will be able to participate in the Fabia RS Rally2 with “Cohete” Suárez as part of a special event.
