Skoda Fabia Rally2 limited edition 188bhp revealed

Skoda launches the Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition, a special model dedicated to two-time rally champion José Antonio Suárez. He won the Spanish Rally Super Championship (S-CER) in 2021 and 2023. This exclusive version of the popular rally car showcases a powerful 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 188 horsepower and is designed for competitive performance. Only 100 units will be produced in this limited edition, which combines advanced engineering with unique styling to pay homage to Suarez’s notable achievements in rally racing. Enthusiasts and collectors alike will appreciate this model’s unique features and enhancements over its standard counterpart. Skoda Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition: exterior and interior

The Fabia Rally2 gets power upgrades that make it the most powerful version of the model and position it in the hot hatchback category. In addition to the increased power, it also features a sports chassis that is lowered by 15 mm and rides on new black 17-inch OZ Racing Superturismo WRC wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires. While the Skoda Fabia Rally2 doesn’t include the widebody kit found on rally models, it does have some sporty elements that set it apart from the standard model. A standout feature is the Mamba Green paint, usually reserved for Skoda RS models, which matches the Fabia RS Rally2 driven by José Antonio Suárez and Alberto Iglesias Pin in the S-CER Championship.

Other motorsport-inspired elements include a rear spoiler and matte black rear fenders. Badges feature ABT badges on the front fenders, Rally2 and “Cohete” Suarez badges on the tailgate and a laurel wreath on the rear pillar to commemorate the Spanish Rally Super Championship victory. Moving to the cabin, the car features black upholstery for the seats, a sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, Rally2 badging and a number plate with the driver’s signature.

Skoda Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition: Mechanical Core

Mechanically, the turbocharged 1.5-liter TSI four-cylinder engine has been optimized to deliver a maximum power of 188 hp and a peak torque of 290 Nm. This marks an increase of 39bhp and 40Nm over the standard model achieved via the ABT Sportsline package. Power is sent to the front wheels exclusively via a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Skoda will produce 100 Fabia Rally2s specifically for the Spanish market. As expected, this special edition is priced at a whopping €30,900 (approximately Rs. 28.05 lakh), making it the most expensive Fabia yet. Deliveries are expected to begin in March next year. Buyers who pre-order will have the opportunity to experience riding the Fabia RS Rally2 with Suarez during the special event.
