With the introduction of Kylaq, Skoda Auto entered the very profitable 4M SUPACE in India. In India, we have witnessed this part of typical European products for the first time. Even Skoda Kylaq’s entry price is on the competition side. It will remain this way until the end of April 2025.
Skoda Kylaq entry price
Skoda Kylaq starts at Rs 789 crore (EX-SH) for the basic classic MT version, up to the top-specific Prestige Petrol. These are the introductory prices Skoda announced at the time of launch. This makes Kylaq Skoda the most affordable in the Indian market.

The company is expected to update its prices until the end of April 2025. SkodaAuto has confirmed the same price and mentioned that the introduction price will be extended to the end of April 2025 and will take effect from May 2025. The exact price increase rate has not been disclosed starting in 2025.
Kylaq is currently sold on four decor levels – Classic, Signature, Signature+ and Prestige. Skoda offers many features and biological comforts that can be provided from basic classic decor. Additionally, the Skoda Kylaq is a shiny beacon with vehicle safety and offers 6 standard airbags, and it is also a 5-star crash vehicle thanks to its MQB A0 in the platform.

All variants of the Skoda Kylaq come standard with a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. This is the same engine that performs its duties in lower large vehicles such as the Skoda Kushak SUV and Slavia sedan. The engine has a peak power of 115 bhp and 178 nm of peak torque, which is automatically paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter.
Skoda Kylaq Company’s main curling generators
Although the company operates in a more advanced segment, the launch of Kylaq in India has been a very important step for Skoda. Since its launch, Skoda has greatly increased its monthly sales and volume. Kylaq has also become Skoda’s highest volume generator in just a few months of its sales.

Skoda sold the highest sales in March 2025 with 7,422 units. If we look at the sales breakup in February 2025, we can see that the chart is dominated by Kylaq, selling 3,636 units, selling 192.75% of MOM growth, and accounting for 65% of Skoda sales that month.
The Kylaq is India’s 10th best-selling 4M SUV (February 2025), and demand seems to be increasing. The company has taken steps to increase production by up to 30% in the Chakan facility near Pune, Maharashtra.
