Spofec gives Rolls-Royce Ghost a subtle makeover

Novitec acquires first all-electric Rolls-Royce, focuses on exterior modifications

Spofec gives Rolls-Royce Ghost a subtle makeover
  • Novitec’s sub-brand Spofec has launched a conversion kit for the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre.
  • The carbon fiber body kit includes a splitter, bumper inserts, side skirts, lip spoiler, and diffuser.
  • The all-black exterior is paired with 24-inch Vossen wheels.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre’s menacing road presence and sleek coupe styling have captured the attention of tuning enthusiasts, and the latest to join the ranks is Spofec, Novitec’s division specializing in Rolls-Royce models, with another dark-themed Spectre.

Spofec’s custom body kit for the Spectre is more sophisticated than its Mansory competitor, and complements the factory design. All parts are made of exposed carbon fiber and are finished in black paint and dark chrome.

The front end features a splitter and matching bumper insert with an additional pair of daytime running lights integrated into it. The body sides are adorned with deeper side skirts, while the rear features a lip spoiler and diffuser fins. The tuner claims that these additional components are not just for show, as they reduce front lift, improve airflow and achieve “optimal aerodynamic balance.”

Another highlight is the 24-inch SP3 alloy wheels from Vossen, previously shown on Spofec-tuned Phantom and Cullinan models. The new wheels mimic the design of Rolls-Royce’s own disc wheels, but with a sportier style. Spofec offers 72 different colour options with painted, polished or brushed finishes, as well as an alternative SP2 design with nine double spokes.

Spofec has also lowered the Spectre by 35 mm (1.4 in) via a lowering kit for the adaptive air suspension. Spofec claims their lowering kit will slightly improve the handling of this all-electric beast without ruining its signature “magic carpet” ride.

The tuner made no changes to the Spectre’s electric powertrain, which produces 577 hp (430 kW / 584 PS) and 660 lb-ft (895 Nm) of torque. Rolls-Royce claims the Spectre will accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and has an electric range of up to 266 miles (428 km) thanks to a 120 kWh battery.

Novitec also released a video demonstration of Spofec’s modified Rolls-Royce Spectre. This model has a Tiffany Blue interior and exterior badges to match.
