Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Ltd (SMIPL), one of India’s leading scooter manufacturers, revealed its sales results for March 2025. The company has closed its sales account for March 2025, with overall growth in its sales account in multiple aspects. Only YTD’s total exports, YTD’s sales fell slightly.

In March 2025, Smipl proved that the company sold 12,56,161 units in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, which is quite large. This is a year-on-year increase of 10.78%, up from 11,33,902 units a year ago, with a volume of 1,22,259 units. Currently, Suzuki operates a portfolio that includes the 125, Avenis 125 and Burgman Street 125 scooters, as well as the Gixxer, Gixxer SF and V-Strom SX motorcycles.

Where monthly sales are involved, Suzuki sold a total of 1,25,930 units in March 2025. By comparison, starting from March 2024, this is a 21.47% increase, with volume increasing by 21.47% and volume increasing by 22,261 units. Further breaking the numbers, we have 1,05,736 units in the domestic market and 20,194 units shipped to the global market.

Suzuki’s domestic business accounts for 83.96% of total monthly sales, while exports account for 16.04%. Last year, domestic sales grew by 22.71%, more than 86,196 units, with sales of 19,572 units, and sales increased by 19,572 units. Meanwhile, the export growth rate of 17,505 vehicles exported over 17,505 vehicles transported last year was 15.36%, with sales up 2,689 vehicles.

As we bring the figures since February 2025, MOM analytics’ sales volume is much higher. SMIPL has achieved a healthy 43.95% MOM growth in the domestic market, while MOM export growth was 20.55%. The number of mothers obtained was 32,281 units in the domestic market and exported 3,443 units. In total, the 90,206 units sold by moms in February 2025 increased by 39.6%, an increase of 35,724 units.

YTD, Suzuki 2W sold a total of 12,56,161 units in FY25, with a growth rate of 10.78%, surpassing 11,33,902 units in FY24, with a volume increase of 1,22,259 units. Decomposed these quantities, 10,45,662 vehicles from the domestic market, up 13.53% year-on-year, exports were 2,10,499 vehicles, and sales fell 1.12%.
