It is said that the Honda i-VTEC turbo engine has a cylinder head gasket problem. December 17, 2024 — Honda class action lawsuit questions reliability of California's 1.5-liter turbo i-VTEC gasoline direct-injection engine. The lawsuit alleges that turbine engine coolant collected in grooves in the engine's cylinder head and damaged the head gasket, causing coolant to leak into the cylinder. The Honda class action lawsuit includes: "All current and former owners or lessees of such vehicles purchased or leased in California."
