Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 recalled in India due to defects

Maruti Suzuki has announced a recall of over 2,500 units of the Alto K10 due to a possible issue with the steering gearbox assembly. While the automaker has not revealed the production year of the affected vehicles, it has announced that authorised dealers will contact customers for inspection and, if necessary, replace the faulty component free of charge. The company has also advised customers not to drive the vehicle until the defective component is replaced. The Alto K10 is currently priced between Rs 3.99 lakh and Rs 5.96 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in four core variants: Std, LXi, VXi and VXi Plus.
