Kia EV9 recalled due to missing seat bolts
Kia is recalling more than 22,000 EV9 SUVs due to missing seat mounting bolts. December 28, 2024 — More than 22,000 Kia EV9 SUVs are being recalled due to problems with the second- and third-row seats. The recalled 2024-2025 EV9s may have missing seat mounting bolts, which could cause real problems in a crash. The workers at the assembly plant were probably talked over because they made the mistake. Kia received a report in September that the 2024 Kia EV9 was missing third-row seat mounting bolts. A second report said another 2024 EV9 was missing bolts, so Kia checked dozens of cars but found nothing wrong. But a third report of a dealer warranty claim was received.
