BMW Motorrad has now officially opened bookings for the upcoming CE 02, the company’s second electric scooter after the recently launched CE 04. Those planning to purchase can contact the nearest authorized BMW Motorrad dealer to reserve the scooter in question. BMW's first electric two-wheeler, the CE 02, launched in partnership with TVS, will be launched in India this month. BMW plans to manufacture the two-wheeler at TVS's Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. While the launch will take place in due course, we expect the new CE 02 to be priced around Rs 4-5 lakh (ex-showroom). In international markets, the CE 02 starts at $7,599 (roughly Rs 6.4 lakh) for the base model and goes up to $8,474 (roughly Rs 7 lakh) for the top-of-the-line model.
