With less than three weeks to go until the start of the 2024-25 Formula E season, India's biggest hope for the Formula E World Championship, Jehan Daruvala, has confirmed that he will not race in the 11th season of the all-electric racing series season. The news comes as no surprise to those who have followed Jehan's motorsport career. After all, Jehan didn't take part in pre-season testing either. However, I tried to reveal more about Jehan’s journey in this conversation, specifically his ability to deal with the uncertainty that the world of motorsport often throws at professional racers. Visit Wichita wins 2025 NAIA Women’s National Championship,

Wichita, opportunity.— The National Association of Interscholastic Athletics (NAIA) has selected Park City Arena and the city of Wichita as host sites for the 2025 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships. The 2025 championships will take place on March 14-15 and include double-elimination tournaments in 10 weight classes. “Park City Arena and the Wichita Visitors Bureau have been outstanding hosts to our men’s wrestling national championships over the past several years,” said NAIA Tournament Director Austin Bennett. “We are excited to continue our partnership, this time bringing the passionate approach and athlete-focused environment of Park City Arena and Visit Wichita to the women’s championship.” The NAIA has also selected Park City Arena and Visit Wichita to host the NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championship through 2027. Hero Motosports Team Rally made history as Ross Branch won the Drivers' Championship in the 2024 FIM World Rally Championship. The Dink Little League Pickleball Championship will be held at Cavelero Middle School on Sept. 7-8. Snohomish County, Washington—The Dink Little League Pickleball Northwest Regional Showdown, presented by ZZ2 Pickleball, will be held at Cavelero Middle School on September 7 and 8. The pickleball tournament is one of seven regional Little League Pickleball shows held in the United States. Little League Pickleball is a team game that pits four players (two women and two men) against each other in an engaging format. The MLPlay format team competition consists of four 21-point matches: one women's doubles, one men's doubles, and the last two mixed doubles. Teams play in a round-robin format, with the top-ranked teams competing in an elimination round. For the next four years, the Junior National Doubles Championship will be held in Milwaukee. Milwaukee, Wisconsin— USA Wrestling, the national governing body for wrestling in the United States, has awarded the rights to one of its most popular age-group events, the National Junior Tag Team Championships, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the next four years (2025-28). The event is scheduled to take place at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. The Baird Center was built in 1998. In 2024, the center underwent a $456 million expansion that doubled its size to 1.3 million square feet. Formula E: Saudi Arabian Formula E Championship moves to Jeddah F1 Circuit
The Jeddah street circuit is one of the fastest in the world, with 27 turns, and will be shortened to suit the unique requirements of Formula E. Formula E's annual race in Saudi Arabia will move from Diriyah to Jeddah next season. The race will take place on a shortened version of the Formula 1 Jeddah Corniche. The change was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sports. Jeddah will host two events on February 14-15, 2025. Diriyah, near Riyadh, has hosted six events in the past, but the Gen3 cars struggled to deliver exciting racing. Jeddah's track, with longer straights and more overtaking opportunities, is expected to provide better racing. The final track layout will be confirmed in October. 1955 Ferrari 410 S with Carroll Shelby winning the championship
Before he founded Shelby American In the early 1960s, Carroll Shelby was racing around the world in cars from other manufacturers, not just American ones. In 1959, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans together with Roy Salvadori, driving the Aston Martin DBR1. He also drove several Ferraris in the 1950s, including two of the four 410 S cars developed to compete in the Carrera Panamericana before it was cancelled in 1955. Two of the Ferraris Shelby drove were sold to private individuals. The other two remained with Ferrari's own factory team. One of the two privately owned cars, chassis number 0598 CM, was sold at auction in 2022 for $22 million.
