Chevrolet Bolt owners are warned to take the following steps until their vehicles can be repaired. “Set the vehicle’s target charge level feature to limit the charge level to 90 percent, charge the vehicle more frequently to avoid draining the battery to the remaining 70 miles of range, park the vehicle outside after charging, and do not charge indoors overnight.” — General Motors Advanced diagnostic software may have been installed incorrectly and failed to detect defective battery modules, potentially leading to battery fires in 72 vehicles in the United States and 12 in Canada.
