July 20, 2024 — Arizona's attorney general has filed a lawsuit against Fiat Chrysler and engine maker Cummins, accusing the companies of selling illegal Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 diesel trucks to more than 23,600 Arizona residents. Attorney General Kris Mayes alleges that Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks built from 2013 to 2019 were equipped with 6.7-liter engines and had illegal emissions suppression devices installed.
