September 10, 2024 — The Volkswagen ID.4 door handle recall has been expanded to 120,000 SUVs, whose doors may open suddenly without warning. August 10, 2024 — In 2020 to 2023 Hyundai Palisade SUVs, the Hyundai Palisade seat belts can unfasten (unlock) without warning. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received at least 37 complaints about the Palisade's seat belts accidentally unbuckling. Unfastened seatbelts are completely useless in a crash, and many Hyundai Palisade owners say they are extremely concerned about their children's safety. "The second row seat belts would engage/click securely into place and then intermittently release, causing the belts to disconnect while the vehicle was in motion.
