Austin prepares to close convention center
AUSTIN, Texas – On April 1, 2025, the Austin Convention Center will close for four years for a $1.6 billion reconstruction project. The city won't be shutting down for conventions and trade shows, as the city's hotels and convention centers are stepping in to help. Orlando, Florida – The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) brings an estimated $3.9 billion in economic impact to the Central Florida economy annually – This significant growth highlights the center’s business, according to a recent study by PFM Group Consulting (PFM) Activity.
