Hero MotoCorp recently launched the new Destini 125 scooter which gets a refreshed design with bigger wheels, disc brakes at the front etc. This is the first comprehensive update of the scooter since it was launched about 6 years ago. The powertrain is more or less the same though - a 124.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that puts out 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The latest version of Hero Destini 125 comes in three models - VX, ZX and ZX+. All three models come with projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED daytime running lights, metal front fenders and LED taillights. They even share the suspension setup, including telescopic front forks and rear monoshock. Upgraded Hero Destini 125 teased ahead of launch in India
Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch an upgraded version of its most expensive scooter, the Destini 125. The launch date is yet to be announced but Hero is expected to launch the new version in the first week of next month. The existing Hero Destini 125 went on sale about 6 years ago and the scooter has remained largely unchanged since then. While the official teaser doesn't reveal anything, the patent images show that the updated Hero Destini will feature a boxier design than the current version, with cleaner side lines. The front is likely to feature triangular headlamps and apron-style indicators, while the rear is likely to feature a sleeker tail. Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for the festive season with the launch of the 2024 model of Destini 125. After the images were leaked, the company has now confirmed that the scooter will be officially unveiled in September. Here are the expected features of the upgraded Destini 125. The Hero Destini 125 Xtec will get a complete design makeover. The scooter will feature a more rounded front apron, repositioned LED headlights and a modernized front fascia with a dual-tone paint job. The leaked images also show new alloy wheels that match the body color, along with all-black telescopic forks and dual-tone wing mirrors. The exhaust cover has also been redesigned. A new Destini 125 design patent has revealed the visual enhancements of the Hero scooter which include retro styling and futuristic elements. As shown in the images, the scooter features retro-styled flat side panels and an elongated tail-light assembly. The front cannot be seen but going by the previously leaked images, the two-wheeler seems to get a new LED headlamp with copper highlights. Although Hero has not confirmed it yet, the scooter is expected to come with a metallic exhaust heat cover and new alloys. It may also come in a new black and brown colour scheme.
