Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales fell 19% year-on-year in two weeks
In December 2024, Bajaj Auto's total sales reached 323,000 vehicles, a slight decrease of 1% from last year's 327,000 vehicles. In terms of two-wheelers, domestic sales fell 19% to 1.28 lakh units. However, exports performed well, jumping 15% to 144,000 units. All in all, Bajaj Auto sold 2.72 lakh two-wheelers, down 4 per cent from 2.83 lakh units in the same month last year. Bajaj's overall growth in commercial vehicles is impressive compared to two-wheelers. In December 2024, domestic sales increased slightly by 5% to 34,085 vehicles, while exports surged by 50% to 16,867 vehicles. A total of 50,952 commercial vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 16%. Honda’s domestic sales in India fell 42.67% year-on-year
Honda's sales in November 2024 were 10,726 vehicles, a decrease of 9.80% from last year's 11,891 vehicles. Among them, the Elevate manufacturer supplied 5,005 units to the domestic market, a decrease of 3,725 units from 8,730 units in the same month last year.
