JD Event Announces Sale to Emerald a Plant-Based World
Fairfield, Connecticut - Probably artificial meat, but the popularity of plant-based proteins is real. From 2024 to 2030, the global industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 19.4%, worth approximately US$24.7 billion. This progress inspired the JD Event (JDE) to sell the Organizer Plant-based World (PBW) to Emerald. JDE launched PBW in 2019, when the global industry was worth approximately $3.4 billion. Its B2B activities include the Plant-Based World Expo North America and Plant-Based World Expo Europe, as well as the digital news platform PBW Pulse connects the industry’s global supply network and helps them develop, source and distribute products.
