Topless Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed debuts, featuring F1-inspired technology
250 units of the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed have been produced and are powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 577 hp and 800 Nm. Mercedes-AMG has launched the SL 63-based PureSpeed as the first model in the Mythos series, a new series of special edition cars. This unique model distinguishes itself from the AMG SL Roadster by adopting a series of striking modifications to its exterior. These include highly aggressive aerodynamic upgrades that set the tone for its performance-focused design. The familiar AMG Panamericana grille is replaced by a striking shark-nose design, which is highlighted by the prominent central air intake and dynamic sides. The AMG logo is prominently located on the lower edge of the front bumper. Additionally, the hood is carefully sculpted with additional vents to optimize airflow and cooling.
