2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse offers optional carbon fiber

February 9, 2023 12:59 Ford just made a big announcement for 2024 Mustang fans - the new Dark Horse will offer an optional upgrade of carbon fiber wheels. These lightweight wheels will not only improve performance, but also give Mustang owners some extra bragging rights, as we usually see this option on high-end sports cars. The new wheels were made in partnership with Carbon Revolution. Before being approved for production, they underwent more than 200 "structural and environmental validation" tests to prove their strength and rigidity. Ford EcoBoost court battle continues, judge upholds
Although Ford has issued a recall, it is still facing lawsuits regarding the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine. The committee representing the plaintiffs is currently counseling owners of more Ford models with the same engine. The judge may still dismiss the case at a later stage. In late 2023, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating reports of a defect in Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engines. As of January of this year, the automaker had recalled nearly 140,000 vehicles. The Tremor is the latest off-road-focused Ford Ranger in the Australian range, with the same chassis upgrades as the Wildtrak X Australia's Ranger Tremor is based on the Sport trim but adopts the off-road suspension and steering components of the Wildtrak X. The truck is powered by a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine mated to an all-wheel drive system.
